Conspiracy politics – The Hidden War
Age of Aquarius uses the setting or milieu of our world, both in historical epochs and in the current day. Over time characters can gain influence over various agencies and parts of society, with characters struggling against each other in a covert war to gain control of the world, or simply change part of it. Certainly many human secret societies have an edge in the field, passing on secrets they learn from one generation to the next and amassing wealth and power as much as they can. What they choose to do with this power depends on the aims of the organisation. However, some Nephilim belong to groups who not only dabble but actually seek to determine outcomes for humanity.
Between game sessions the world setting in Age of Aquarius will not remain static and unchanging. Players can use their control over select groups or organisations to shape and manipulate the world, in a small or sometimes large degree, between game sessions, with little chance of other players knowing.
