A great pleasure in roleplaying lies in advancement of a Nephilim character
from meagre beginnings. Increases of skills are especially noticeable. During
the game sessions a gamemaster will award one skill level point to every player.
This increase
is immediate. The gamemaster makes and instant adjustment on your character
sheet or skill card.
What does the gamemaster look for when awarding instant experience points?
- Testing the limits of your abilities by taking a risk at something your
character might only just be able to do
- Saving the day with the use of your skill
- Preventing some kind of dangerous activity with the use of your ability
- Outthinking and outmanoeuvring your opponents
- Making a very creative use of your skill
- Taking significant steps in using your ability, being proactive in using
your skill
- Forcing people to roleplay and see things in a different way
- Roleplaying, acting and portraying the skill use well
At the end of every session players will nominate a player who they feel
deserves an experience point. You can nominate whomever you like. That player
will receive a skill level. No player will receive more than one level.
