Make a Move

Actions you can take are quite specific, and you can only choose from the list below. The writers will determine the exact effect of the actions, naturally enough, but players are welcome to offer suggestions on how their actions could be written into the game storyline. You can only choose one action for each group at any given time.

The actions available are:

Assault
– you can try to reduce another players control over a particular group. Select a target group, and select whom you know as the target player who controls that group. Then try to kick their arse.
Obstruct – you can use your power and control to try and stop another group taking action. Select a target group, and then try to smack them down.
Augment – if your group is being besieged, you can try and find ways to help them overcome the machinations of other groups.
Unite – your group can join forces with another players group to do what the other player wishes. You are effectively lending aid and support, of whatever kind, to the other players endeavour. Select the other player; select the group you wish to support.

Hide – if other players are trying to discover if you control your group or not, you can try to conceal your hand, and leave trails of false evidence or simply hide from scrutiny.
Resist – if you group is being assaulted, you can try and maintain your grip on power by choosing this option. By whatever tactics you like, you exert your power over your organisation to keep them in line.
Snoop – you can ask members of your group to spy on other groups, and try to discover secrets. Select a target group, or select a target player, and stalk them. You can try to learn specific things, but often a snoop learns the unexpected.
Expand – you can try and enlarge and expand your groups operations. Obviously this is limited by the type of group you influence and control – Controlling the Fijian defence forces probably means you can’t take over the Sydney stock exchange, but Murdoch enterprises may well stand a good chance of doing so in a very sneaky manner.
Acquire – if something your character wants is loose or lost you can ask your group to try and acquire it. If it’s in the possession of another character, you most likely won’t be able to get your hands on it.
