There are a few rules of play that everyone must abide by.

  • The consumption of alcohol or drugs is not welcome at the game. Players who like to do that should wait till after the session.

  • Forcefully touching anyone is an assault not roleplaying. Please resist whatever strange urges force you to express yourself in a direct 
    physical manner at another player. They probably won’t welcome it! We don’t! If there is any problem, we will simply ask the offender to 
    leave.

  • Use your common sense. This game is not real. It is a game, an experience, a fiction in which you will participate for a short time. You are 
    not learning occult mysteries,and if you feel closer to some powerful force after a game session get 
    psychiatric help. The game is designed to affect you like a movie is designed to affect you. Be 
    moved, be challenged, be changed - but for Christ’s sake don’t be ridiculous.

  • Many of the things in the game are based and drawn from historical sources. If you want to learn 
    more, please don’t ask us. Go to a library.

  • Be aware that offensive words and ideas may be present in the game. This is the 21st century, and 
    we make no apology for being controversial. If you are the type of person who will be offended by 
    many contemporary issues and occult matter, then just leave now. Go. See ya. If you are so offended 
    that you think people shouldn’t be able to do this, then your opinion is noted. Just email us. We will 
    read the most entertaining letters at the end of sessions. That’s all we will do.
